WorkBaltimore 2018 Volunteer Registration

Volunteer for 2018 WorkBaltimore: Empowerment to Employment Convention. This two-day event will be held on Wednesday, September 26th, and Thursday, September 27th. Our success depends on the collective efforts of citizens and employees of the City of Baltimore, and we request your participation as a volunteer.

We believe your support sends a clear message to our City about the importance of employment. Over the coming weeks leading to the event, we aim to work closely with you to volunteer on key activities.

To begin this process, please register here. Please note that all volunteers will be required to receive Volunteer training prior to the event and complete a walk-through of the Convention Center. Information pertaining to the dates of the walk-through and training sessions will be available shortly and notifications will be sent to you. Please note that if you plan to participate on September 26th, you must attend walk-through on September 25th. If you intend to volunteer on September 27th, then your walk-through will be scheduled for the morning of the 26th.

Permission leave will be granted to City employees, with Supervisor’s authority, for both days of the Convention. It is expected that all volunteers will be present for the full day to which they have committed. The length of the full day is expected from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m, on September 26th, and 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., on September 27th.
